We’re currently looking for an skilled and experience Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team in Maidstone. With the expansion of our services, we’ve opened a second Cardiac Cath Lab, making this an exciting time to join a rapidly growing and high-impact team. Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you’ll be responsible for managing a busy caseload and providing high-quality care to patients throughout their entire pathway at KIMS Hospital. Your role will involve:

  • Pre-operative assessment and recovery nursing for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
  • Scrubbing for cardiac procedures including catheterisation, pacing, and ICD fitting.
  • Ensuring the patient experience remains at the heart of everything we do, implementing best practices in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Performing day-to-day duties including taking bloods, cannulation, performing angiograms, and monitoring patients.
  • Working as part of a dedicated team of professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered at all times.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Qualified Adult Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab, CCU, or Acute Medicine setting.
  • Fully trained in resuscitation and able to handle emergencies effectively.
  • Experience in cannulation, venepuncture, and ECG’s.

Desirable:

  • Post-registration training in Cardiology.
  • Knowledge of current nursing and clinical developments.

Working Hours:

This role offers part-time shifts, Monday to Friday, with varying hours on a rota basis, including:

  • 8 AM - 4 PM
  • 9 AM - 5 PM
  • 10 AM - 6 PM
  • 11 AM - 7 PM
